What this page covers
GarageBolt is shop-management software. This page explains what happens to the details you leave when you request a demo or write to us from the site.
If you already use the board, workshop, customer, and vehicle records are handled to provide the service on your account. This note focuses on the public site and the demo request.
What is collected
The first step is the email. The full file adds your name, phone, shop name, role, city, state or county, number of locations, team size, how you run the shop today, the features you want to see, and any note you add.
The time of the request, the page you came from, and the fact that you agreed to be contacted are stored with it. If the browser completes the reCAPTCHA check, Google processes the technical data of that check under its own terms.
Why
To answer the demo request, prepare the conversation, and follow up on that contact. The file is not used for a different purpose unless a rule requires it.
An email on its own, if you do not finish the file, is kept so the request can continue. You can ask for it to be removed.
How long
While the demo conversation is open, and for a reasonable period after that, so the thread is still there if you write again. If you ask for deletion and there is no duty to keep the record, it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or an objection on the demo request. Use the same path you already used: the demo form, or a reply to the message we send you.
If you are in the UK, you can also contact the ICO. If you are in the EEA, you can contact the supervisory authority where you live. This page does not change those rights.
